Healthy ponds require adequate dissolved oxygen for growth
of benificial bacteria and the survival of pond inhabitants.
Koi will be healthier and grow at faster rates when ponds are supplemented with oxygen.
Use of air pumps will areate and circulate the water helping to keep debris suspended in the water increasing filteation
system to trap and remove the particulates leaving your pond noticable clearer and cleaner.
IMPORTANT! For winter use move airstone/diffuser to top of pond no deeper than 12" from top!
Warning! Placing air supply at the bottom or deep into pond during the winter will circulate the lower
warmer water causing potential fish kill. Koi & other pond fish over winter in the deep of the pond
where the water temperature is more tolerant.
